This tool helps restore backup files that may have been corrupted.
This tool helps restore BKF File Backup. While regular back up is the remedy to system corruption, a corrupt backup file can create a huge problem. This tool helps view and recovers the BKF format back up files. The tool will let you recover files and salvage the backup folders from the BKF archives. Initially the tool does a scan to find the exact status of the files and folders inside the archives. This has several modes that include “Quick Scan”, “Deep Scan”, “partial Scan” and “Save and Load Scan”. The save and load scan feature lets you save a scan and get started again at another time by loading the scan back. The demo version lets you view the state of the files/folders but does not let you save the recovered data. This is available only on full registration.
The interface is nicely done. You get to see the archival files in a tree structure on the left of the interface. You are given a list of files in the folders chosen and another part of the interface will show you the content of the file selected. So that you know exactly what was corrupt. The functionality thus allows you to open a specific BKF file, search for a particular item from the BKF file such as pictures, images and document files. You can then extract your pictures, images, document files from BKF file. There are no limits on the size of the file that can be recovered. This tool cannot be used to recover the Exchange mailbox files though, from the corresponding BKF files.
